![]() ![]() List-based one- and two-variable statistical analysis, including logistic, sinusoidal, median-median, linear, logarithmic, exponential, power, quadratic polynomial, cubic polynomial, and quadratic polynomial regression models.Matrix operations including inverse, determinant, transpose, augment, reduced row echelon form and elementary row operations convert matrices to lists and vice-versa.Horizontal and vertical split-screen options.Seven different graph styles for differentiating the look of each graph drawn.Interactive analysis of function values, roots, maximums, minimums, integrals and derivatives.Function evaluation table shows numeric evaluation of functions in table format.User-defined list names lists store up to 999 elements.Sequence graphing mode shows time series plot, cobweb/stair-step plot and phase plots. ![]() Up to 10 graphing functions defined, saved, graphed and analyzed at one time.Graphs 10 rectangular functions, six parametric expressions, six polar expressions and three recursively-defined sequences.Real and complex numbers calculated to 14-digit accuracy and displayed with 10 digits plus a two-digit exponent.Advanced functions accessed through pull-down display menus. The differences between the TI-84 plus and TI-84 are minimal, only increased performance (hardly noticeable) and a slightly greater compatibility with newer apps (useless if you do not download applications from the internet) allow you to tell the two apart.īoth are compatible with the TI-83 and have similar keystrokes for functions. Much better than the design of the TI-83. Laid, '80s age screens give this calculator an old-school look but the exterior ast hetic design is much more modern. Of course, this can all be solved by reading the manual, but calculator manuals are 100+ pages and not very interesting reads. You might get a better deal for your dollar buy purchasing a calculator from one of the other competing brands (such as Casio), but because they are not widely used you will have some compatibility issues with your teacher or professor, who most likely knows only how to teach you to use Texas Instrument's TI-series of calculators. Although it comes short of the TI-89 in many features, it's overall a great piece of equipment though a little overpriced. The TI-84 Graphing Calculator is the standard graphing calculator expected of high school and college students. Texas Instruments TI-84 Plus Graphing Calculator ![]()
